Biography

Jonathan Colasanti is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University, Atlanta, USA. Dr. Colasanti received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from the University of Virginia, USA, and his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Miami, USA.  He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Global Health Equity at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Jonathan hopes to gain a solid foundation in the field of implementation science. During his time as a PH-LEADER participant he also looks forward to appreciating how principles in the NCD model also apply to HIV/AIDS care delivery while learning from the challenges his colleagues encounter in their home countries and how this can improve care delivery across settings.
