Biography

Fernanda Cobo is a lawyer and Research Assistant in Public Health Law at Instituto Nacional de Salud Pública in Mexico. She received her law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, and her Master of Laws (LLM) with a focus in public health law from Emory University. Ms. Cobo is interested in how public health law impacts health and its social determinants, and hopes to learn how to effectively apply law in order to achieve positive public health outcomes in the Mexican population during her time as a PH-LEADER participant.
