Biography

Rajiv Chhibber, BA, MA, is the senior manager and head of media relations at the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) in New Delhi.  He received his Bachelors in English Literature and his Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from Delhi University.  Mr. Chhibber has almost a decade long experience in Corporate, Media, and Government Communications. Presently, he focuses on developing and implementing PHFI’s media & communications strategy and external relations. In addition, he is also the media spokesperson for PHFI, and oversees the website and protocol support systems.  Prior to joining PHFI, Rajiv was spearheading Corporate Communications at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), New Delhi; where he was responsible for strategic communications, content management, media, web and social media management. He played a key role as Crisis Communication Manager and streamlined the media interface between TERI and the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), from Nov 2009 to Feb 2010, during the IPCC Himalayan Glacier outburst.
